0403 Hualien Shoufeng Earthquake Claim Information Update (as of July 23, 2024)

As of July 23, 2024, a total of 14 buildings containing insured households have been examined and inferred damaged; among them, 12 buildings have been determined to meet the claim criteria (279 affected insured cases) and 2 buildings are needed to be further assessed (10 possible affected insured cases), with the exposed insurance amount of approximately NT$471 million; 264 cases out of them have been paid.

At the same time, TREIF urges affected policyholders to promptly cooperate with their respective insurance companies to complete the claims process.
