This event, centered on the theme of "National Natural Disaster Insurance Mechanisms and Disaster Prevention Technology Experience-Sharing in the Pacific Ring of Fire" featured presentations from the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Natural Hazards Commission and a Project Manager from the Japan Earthquake Reinsurance Company. They shared insights into their respective disaster management systems and experiences, given that both are nations located within the Pacific Ring of Fire. Additionally, the Director of the National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction in Taiwan shared a new perspective on Taiwan's disaster prevention efforts.
The event was attended by a total of 180 guests, including representatives from property and casualty insurance companies, reinsurance companies, insurance brokers, academic researchers, and other relevant organizations.
