TREIF  (Taiwan Residential Earthquake Insurance Fund)has developed a web-based system https://www.treif.org.tw/EarthquakeTrans/ , for P & C companies to transmit their written residential earthquake insurance policies data to TREIF.

The transmission data include

Policy data Cash Call data

Endorsement data O/S Loss data

Paid Loss data

TREIF could use these data to service all the insureds, to make the statistic and calculate the accumulated exposure in each county, to calculate the take-up rate, and to use these data for overall risk analysis and evaluation. Throughout the statistic and risk analysis, TREIF could modify earthquake insurance policy and TREIF’s strategy and improve the earthquake insurance system and TREIF to be better.
