Residential Earthquake Insurance Development and Planning Task Force
| Residential earthquake basic insurance is a statutory insurance requiring comprehensive and meticulous decision-making procedures. TREIF therefore established a Residential Earthquake Insurance Development and Planning Task Force in March 2008 to assist the fund in formulating relevant policies. The president of TREIF serves as convener of the task force. The task force members include experts and scholars recruited by TREIF from the business, government, and academic sectors. In order to meet practical needs, the task force is currently divided into three subcommittees, including the Risk Transfer and Premium Rate Subcommittee, Underwriting, Claims and Legal Subcommittee, and IT, Statistics and Education Promotion Subcommittee. In future, the task force may be reorganized according to actual operating circumstances. |
